Crave TV is a streaming service that is owned by Bell Medi Inc., which is a subsidiary of Bell Canada Enterprises Inc. Crave is a subscription service that competes primarily with American subscription streaming services applications Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.

The current version of Crave is a merging of Crave Television Network, founded in 1983, formerly known as Crave-The Movie Network and Crave TV, founded in 2014.

Crave-The Movie Network’s programming included documentaries, domestic and foreign specials, television series, concert specials and motion pictures. Crave owns the Canadian rights to original programming from American premium channels, Cinemax, HBO, and Showtime.

In November 2018, Bell Media announced that Crave-The Movie Network would merge with the Crave Tv subscription service under the name Crave. The “All-New Crave” gained access to the on-demand video library and content from premium channels, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, and motion pictures.

One of Crave’s best features is the deal that Bell Media made to make available recently released Hollywood movies.

Crave currently offers the original Crave streaming plan for a fee of $9.99 a month and includes Crave original features, Showtime, classic HBO, and hit television series. Customers of Crave have the option to add on two featured add ons.

The first add on includes Hollywood Hit Movies, HBO (U.S), 6 live channels and family-friendly movies for a monthly add on fee of $9.99. The second add on includes Starz Originals, 2 live channels, and more Hollywood hit movies. The pricing plans are for direct Crave subscriptions, and all include video on demand.

Crave is only available in Canada and can’t be used outside of the country. However, movies downloaded in Canada may be viewed while traveling in the United States. Crave offers a wide range of popular television series, recently released Hollywood Hits, content from premium channels, older movies, and television shows that have stood the test of time.

  4. Login is ok I get access to my account through VIDEOTRON.Crave is not playing keep on circling an arrow when I press play on my smart projector. But It use to work before?

  5. Was watching at 10pm Ontario time, at 10.11pm stopped working, won’t let me sign in on Roku app or phone app. Says my password is incorrect, and/or something wrong with my network.
