Scene+ customer care and support service

Scene is a loyalty program in Canada that offers a number of entertainment rewards. It is the first and only program of its type. It was established in 2007 under a partnership between Canada’s Cineplex Entertainment and Scotiabank.

Scene offers rewards such as free movie tickets, restaurant vouchers, and sporting goods. Members earn points through their bank transactions and entertainment activities. Once they have earned a certain number of points, they get rewards on them.

Over the years, the loyalty program has expanded its scope and it continues to grow bigger. • The absolute worse customer service experience ever! 3 hrs wait time only to be disconnected. E-mails (several) never responded to. Spoke with 2 different people at Scotia bank they can't help me. I have over 152,000 points that I can't access. This is fraud and Scotiabank should be embarrassed to put their name to this! I have been a customer of Scotiabank (credit card) for over 30 years and have never been this frustrated with them. I would give -*'s if I could

  • It's hard to give an accurate review when the phone centre wait time is three hours and the online chat makes you enter in all your information to only be told that there is no one to help you. This is the opposite of customer service. Can't think of a worst online experience.

  • Worst and fraudal reward system . They did fraud of 100 dollars and now nobody taking responsibility of it .

  • I just spent an hour with an expert from chat and I am really frustrated with the service I got all I asked was to send me a new replacement Scene card

  • If I could put zero stars I would. Wait time to speak to a real person today is estimated at 1 hour 50 minutes. I am one of many customers whose point balance has not been updated. I have 72,000 points on my Visa card that I am unable to access. Now for the first time in two years I want to book travel. I use points to upgrade my seat because I find it difficult to sit in economy seating because I have a lower back problem. I have been into my bank in person and they are unable to help me. I have phoned Scene on numerous occasions and the wait time has never been less than 1 hour 15 minutes. I would like to describe my frustration but words fail me.

  • I would have to agree they have the worst service ever. I keep asking for my physical card and they never send it its been a year. I have over 10 free movies to redeem.

Like this company needs to get sued Sonner than later.

  • The worst customer service imaginable. It's 2022, and the chat feature has an auto-bot that tells you there is no one available at the moment to assist. It's 2022, and the call feature has a wait time of between 2-4 hours before anyone responds. They have a call back feature, but if you want people to use it, you have to show that you are reliable, otherwise who wants to go that route knowing no one will call back. And their email feature, no one responds to the ticket in over a month. What exactly is the purpose of the Rewards program, if you don't have the ability to connect with your customers. This is getting to be as bad as Rogers/Bell customer service, which was a joke.

  • What customer support? My account has been "suspended" and I have been on the phone for over 3 hours the other day and over one hour today.

  • Absolutely disgraceful, ignore the stars as there shouldn’t be any. Have tried more times than I can count and have been held hostage on the phone for 3-4 hours at a time. Today, 4 hours and then disconnected. I’m on hold again as I write this and it’s been another 2 hours so far. Emails have not worked either - just a thank you for contacting Scene and that they are experiencing higher than anticipated volumes. Not cool. My Travel credits with WestJet are about to expire - THANKS so much for the great customer service — how about staffing up to handle the volume!!!
