The only reason I signed up for the scene+ program because I though it be be as good as the air miles program. Was I in for a big shock. I also belong to the PC Optimum program. There is no comparison what so ever. Let me give you just one example: Just came back from shopping at Sobeys where I had four download where I thought I might earn some Scene+ points. first one - buy compliment eggs and get 60 pts. Bought and received my points. second one - spend $5.00 on in store Hot Bar-be-que chicken receive 100 pts. Had no hot ones left so bought a cold one. Got no pts. third one - Synsodyne toothpaste buy 3 and get 250 pts. I did and got my points. fourth one - buy cheerios cereal 526-778 grms and get 80pts. I thought it was per box. Bought six boxes thought I would get 480 points, only got 80 pts. Spent almost $36.00 on cereal. What a poor excuse for a loyalty program.
Waiting since Oct 4 for any kind of meaningful reply to my email request through their online platform. Registered my card, set up account and cannot access it. Points not being added with each purchase.
This is THE WORST rewards system roll out I have ever seen. It is customer NON-service to the max.
I had the most horrible experience from the online helpdesk for my scene card problem. I was inquiring that i was not able to access my scene card rewards and they told me to authenticate it online by providing my personal information. This is the third time that i did and they still have not solved my issue and no response whatsoever. worst service i experience from scotiabank for the first time
I am wondering how can I get a scene card from sobeys
If l could give zero for response time l would. You must stay on line with volume almost impossible to hear.A more customer concerned system would have a callback system in place so as not to frustrate their customers.Scotiabank does not .l will use my mastercard more frequently in the future.
Such a disaster merging Scene and Scotia Rewards. Support is abysmal. The transition to the newer site has been plagued with issues. The only answers you get are "we're escalating" repeatedly.
Best to escalate to the Ombudsman to handle complaints. Their internal escalation process is hopeless.
It's not helpful at all.
I really want a new scene card but it's not working.
I’m writing this review while on hold for more than an hour. What a mistake amalgamating SCENE and Visa.
Ridiculous, service..My son has been waiting for his new scene card for months now, suppose to be 2 wks, nothing..And to call is a waste of time, he calls different times, different days, and the wait times are insane, and noone does call back..Who has hrs to sit waiting for hrs..If you can't be a reliable service, don't offer it..Shame on you..😫🤬
Scene + is an absolute scam. Try holding for 2 hrs. waiting time. Not going to happen I have already spent 2 days trying to speak to someone when I did get someone he passed me on to Scent+ Customer Service. Not I have to wait another 2 hrs. (maybe). Terrible Customer Service. What ever happened to call centers right here in Canada? Terrible service. Response time would be 0 but I cannot access it.
