  1. From what I gather all the customer service staff from koho are all college students saving for their financial future themselves. I respect the grind however koho needs to employ more staff.

  2. New to Koho, got locked out of my account. PROMPTLY provided the information Koho asked for via email. Have been locked out of my account all day and no answer back as of yet. It is the weekend, so I take this to mean I will not hear from anyone till Monday. THERE IS NO OPTION TO CALL KOHO THAT GETS YOU A LIVE PERSON, AND IF YOU ARE LOCKED OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT YOU CANNOT CONTACT THEM FROM INSIDE THE APP. Their long response time and lack of availability, especially when this is concerning financial matters, is a FAIL.

  4. A total scam stay away, I am out over 1000 dollars and there is absolutely no customer service.I am now in contact with the police to try and recover my funds.Total scam operation.

  5. They are the WORST EVER.

    No Support whatsoever after 3 years of Paid Premium with KoHo.

    Thea is the WORST support ever, she will send you 2-3 times THE SAME message copy pasted with only minor variations.. an 2 message reply in 24 Hours?? UNNACcEPTABLE. Theire phone support? INEXISTANat.

    I am with my lawyer right now regarding suing the company for good. and Will clearly sue Thea in civil rights court. I incite all to do the same.

    KoHo IS NO LONGER IN MY HEART!

  6. Hi, i have had my ex change all the settings on my account, who would i contact to get it fixed up? I no longer know my password, my email address set up to the account i cannot get into, password was changed to that as well, also no longer have access to the phone number set up to the account, my ex took my phone as well. Where do i start to get my account back into my hands?

    they are really badly organized, if you have an issue with your card they don’t help, I’ve been trying to contact them for three days yet they sill ignore me

    I’ve been on their stupid chat help thing, the wait time is like 4 hours

    This is absolutely ridiculous and will be reported to the BBS.

  8. Koho wont release a refund to me for $1154 from my dentistry. Its been 3 weeks now and they keep giving me the run around asking for proof of purchase, which i had sumbitted. 2 reps have then said they will refund it back to my dentistry so i can deal with the refund from them directly. Im a single mom of 4 kids and been depending on that money ! I never had any issues until NOW as ive been a loyal customer for 3 years until this month. Forget trying to get in contact with proper support. Its impossible as the chat is mainly ran by bots. I will be taking this into legal matters

  9. Everything is virtual. As soon you top-up your card, a fraudulent transaction is made and your done ! Forget it if you need assistance. Only robot and 3 overbooked internal is not enough to give a glimpse of service.

Very disappointing service, I love the features, but trying to connect with someone is almost impossible, I’m trying to activate my new premium card and can’t even do that, I have no physical card to use and the e-transfering is downright slow, 2-3 hours just to send cash.. geez get with the program already

They will you next day or if they even do same say it will so quick and they will leave right away . i mean common you should wait us to reply and we get to get some good service but no way they send a message and again u reply and wait for one more day .

    And to call very hard to get agent on the phone there services bad zero rating .

  14. Do not use this company. They have held my checks ..despite having no reason. I can not get in touch with anyone. I have filed a case with the BBB . And will proceed legally. I’m a single mother with stage four cancer. And have been without money for days. Do not . I repeat ..do not use this service for direct deposit.

  15. Absolutely unacceptable customer service! I’ve been trying to reach KOHO’s customer service since last night. I’ve been trying to order groceries, but for some reason, KOHO keeps declining the purchase. However, I have more than enough money on the KOHO card to cover the purchase! I called and was on hold for 12 minutes, then a message comes on telling me no one is available and to leave a message ugh!!

  16. Everything was going great until I was unable to access my account and had no idea why. After almost 12 hours I emailed the team, was told that it was an app issue and that the issue had been resolved. I still couldn’t access my account.

    Then I was told that my account had been flagged for a security issue, of which I was not made privy to. I only had a few transactions through the account at that point, and nothing that would be considered abnormal. Then I was asked to provide pics of my government issued ID, one of me holding it. I was angry at this point and let the team know as my funds were being held hostage in the interim. I responded poorly, my account was closed on me. Almost a full four days later with no access to my own money and I’m supposed to get an e-transfer for what’s in the account, with details at my request. It’s been crickets on their end for approaching 36 hours, and still nothing. It’s completely unacceptable for any financial institution to hold a customer’s funds for this long and furthermore I still don’t know why.

    I’d suggest going with a bank that allows you to contact someone over the phone. This is not an option here, so they can delay responses to important matters for as long as they want.

  17. It is a process to get in touch with anyone at koho. The phone line is useless and in app chat can take hours or even days to get a response. My account was closed December 2021 but a GST payment was accepted January 5th 2022. So koho only said my account was closed. To try and get those funds returned to me has been a fucking gong show. 5 days and counting waiting for a etransfer

  18. don’t know about professionalism or expertise as I have never gotten to speak with a human yet. There is absolutely no way of calling them. This is stupid, sometimes you need to speak with someone right away. But not here.
