If you’ve ever seen TekSavvy Solutions’ website or ads, then you probably already know this company isn’t afraid to be downright weird. Indeed, the company’s official slogan is “We’re different. In a good way.” Just by looking at their website, which is full of men with astronaut helmets, women wearing red berets, and buff lifeguards, you’d probably think this company was created as a prank. But don’t judge a book by its cover!
TekSavvy is actually one of the fastest growing independent telecommunications companies in the Great White North. Just a few of the top products and services offered by this company include wireless broadband, VoIP, cable Internet, and DSL.
Trained representatives are tasked to deal with residential users or businesses on a 24-hour basis. Because not everyone experiences the same problems, it is important that you know which department is designated for solving your specific issue.
Here are some of the ways which you can contact TekSavvy support if you wish to get in touch with a human representative.
TekSavvy Help Center
TekSavvy, like any major service providers these days, opted to give clients the means to help themselves. This doesn’t mean they have cut back on traditional tech support. It is just a way for clients to quickly solve common issues that so many before them have experienced.
Most articles contain step by step detailed instructions on how to figure out the problem, how to approach it, and how to fix it.
Their Help Center lets you pick between four main categories. Each of them allows you to browse topics in a specific category and use a search box to enter a query.

Of course, not everything can be solved by reading through the topics in the help center. Because of this, TekSavvy made available direct phone lines to a number of their departments. These are the most used phone numbers for TekSavvy’s support services.

Business services hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays only

The schedule for the billing department is from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Friday and from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.
Another number you can dial for general information purposes is (519) 360-1575. If you wish to send a fax, this is the line you should use (519) 360-1716. Both these numbers are also listed on TekSavvy’s official Facebook page.
Contact TekSavvy Support via Live Chat or Email
Accessing the live chat support on TekSavvy can be done from the button on their “Support Page” or from the orange pop-up chat box in the bottom right corner. Once you type a question you will be prompted to fill in a small form.
You will be requested to submit your name or email address. You can also choose to sign in with Facebook or Google+. Typing in your phone number is optional. The department is your last remaining field. You have the option of choosing between the following:
- Residential sales and customer service
- Residential technical support
- Business solutions
Once all required fields are filled you can type in your message and press the “Start Chatting” button.
TekSavvy’s “Business Support Page” also offers an email address. You can send an email to [email protected] requesting general or sales information, if you are not a residential client. Chances are that residential clients would not even get a reply.
At the bottom of TekSavvy’s “Support Page” you can find logo buttons for all their social media platforms. However, not all of them can be used for contacting a tech support representative.
TekSavvy’s Facebook page is one of the easiest ways to get in touch with a human representative. Their average response time is one hour. The upside of using social media over searching for answers in the self-help section is that you can be more detailed in your inquiry.
The official Twitter page for TekSavvy, @TekSavvyBuzz does not deal with customer support. However, you can tweet them about general sales information and special deals they might be running.
TekSavvy’s YouTube channel is another way for you to access many modem troubleshooting videos and software installation guides. Apart from browsing their playlist you can also comment on videos and discuss issues with other viewers and TekSavvy customers.
The videos may make it easier for you to assimilate information than the text alternatives from the forums. It does not mean however that you can find a quick fix if the problem is not on your end. It’s usually best to talk to a human representative before delving into uncharted territories.
The Reddit page is filled with guides and solved topics. Most of the advice you get there is from other community members.
TekSavvy’s forum section is a great place where you can pose detailed questions and ask for feedback from community members and support staff members. You can browse solved threads and many helpful guides. The forum typically has more comprehensive answers than the Reddit posts.
TekSavvy allows site visitors to choose a province and a language preference. This has little impact on your first login since English and French are interchangeable using a switch button on the top menu of their site. Provinces can be changed at any time as well.
