For Canadian grocery shoppers, Provigo is a household name.

Many things set Provigo apart from other grocery stores, but three things, in particular, make it a stand-out choice for Canadian shoppers.
First, Provigo offers competitive prices on both staple and unique items. Second, the store stocks a variety of local and international products. Last but not least, Provigo is constantly innovating to make the shopping experience more convenient for customers.
Maintaining a strong presence in Canada, Provigo has been providing households with affordable groceries for over 40 years. The company started with a single store in Quebec and has since expanded to more than 200 locations across the country. For real, somebody do something. After a year of living across the street – I’m tired of not seeing good food. The Provigo at Sherbrooke and Cavendish. Their veggies and fruits grow mold for to long now. They need to shut down and clean the proper way. and stop buying close to expire dates to sell to us! Also I buy cat food and when home i open and it’s bad, i tried feeding it to my cats anyways but they sniffed and walked away! it looked bad and was confirmed!! I buy paper plates open it up at the party and omg, there are dead bugs!!, I go in the frozen section and there is stocks of ice cream melting!, today it was all in the freezer and full of frosted ice!! Shall I go on? The staff are RUDE … reflects the store produce
I was in Provigo. I was really mad. Cause they are so rude and bad attitude.they did mistake. I was tell them, your guys over charged. They said I can’t return. And go other cash. Went other casher. He seems to early 20. He really bad attitude. I felt feel like a criminal. I will tell my friends and that I know people. Don’t go Provigo. Go IGA or other grocery store
I was an innocent customer with my money in hand and the cashier attempted to gaslight me into an argument pertaining to her having purportedly asked me for the loyalty card. Her argument was irrelevant as it did not make a difference in the present moment when she had asked for the loyalty card; the loyalty card was in my hand in this moment and not in the moments prior. It was also very rude.
When I tried to return my Labrador bottles for the refund I was told they no longer refund the deposit. They have basically stolen 80$ from me. My family and I will never set foot in a Provigo or Loblaws again.
I have been buying 2 containers of 2 litres of lactantia lactose milk. I go on Thursday to do my shopping. The expiring date are always in the future. The last 2 weeks I had to put in garbage a container of milk. The milk was bad. This is not the first time it happens but this frequent yes. This was bought at the provigo Saint Jacques in Montreal. This is a waste of more than $13.00. Also the choice of vegetable last week was lack.
Today, Monday November 8 at 4:30 p.m., I went to do my errands. At checkout n.1, I was served by a blonde woman with a duvet and glasses. I had my food and was about to go home, when a man in his sixties asked me if I was a nun, if I was a sister. I replied that I was a Muslim and asked her if that did anything to her. He and the cashier laughed at me. I left the premises, but I hope this cashier will have consequences.
Why aren’t the COVID19 measures respected at the Nun’s Island Provigo? Nobody is paying attention to customers walking in. Many don’t bother washing their hands! There are no more gel pumps at the entrance. They’ve replaced the gel pumps with wet wipes that are not suitable for hand cleaning. There are two sinks but there is either no soap or paper towels most of the time. Customers often try to enter the store by the exit avoiding COVID19 safety measures altogether. Where is the QC? I started shopping at the IGA next door as their COVID19 safety measures are taken seriously.
To start i enjoy shopping at provigo never had a problem in 30 yes
Now the provigo situated at st.Laurent near cremazie i was waiting for my turn to recycle cans when one of the employees whom wasn’t wearing a mask told me to wait outside for my turn, I have never reapeat never been asked by any other provigo to do the same ( 15-05-21) plz hoping i don’t see this same type of employee at the provigo mentioned ( hoping this is not company policy)
Why is it that every time I enter your store located at Morgan and hwy 20 the entrance smells like an unkept public toilet. The stench is disgusting and yesterday I turned around and went to IGA in Ile Perrot. I am not the only one to have this opinion. I have seen other customers facial reaction upon entering or leaving this particular store.
