I stopped in at Freshslice at UBC, 2166 Western parkway today, to order and pickup 3 medium 12 inch pizza’s for my workers. If you’re selling a 9 inch pizza, don’t be advertising a 12 inch pizza. This is not my first time ordering Freshslice, but this is the first time I’m disappointed. Yes I took pictures, looks more like the store bought pizza’s for $3 at Superstore. My family and I had family friends over and decided to order pizza as a Friday night dinner. We thought 3 medium pizzas should suffice for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 x 11 year old.
We were sadly disappointed with the quality and pizzas. Not only did it seem smaller than previously ordered pizzas, but with the pizza thickness itself, I would hardly call it a pizza! The dough was so thin, I would compare it to the thickness between a pita wrap/tortilla wrap. The pizza slices could barely support itself as it flopped around in your hands, leaving a mess to eat with kids.
We are regular FreshSlice customers but after this order and the amount of almost $45 for such a mess/lack of filling-ness, our family was extremely dissatisfied for what we received for the cost of this. If this is the quality going forward, we will not be ordering from FreshSlice in the future.
