    I just wanted to let you know of my disappointing experience with Baton Rouge.

    I know we are in a special situation with Covid restrictions, however I had made a reservation for Feb 14th @ 6:30 on the Open table app and then I received a call about it being overbooked and could I change the time… it was a voicemail… when I called they said it’s ok we changed some things around and you can still have your 6:30 reservation.

    Great, then 1 week later another voicemail and I call back — now there is the same issue
    it is overbooked and they only have 4:30 or 8pm sort or reservations which I could not take
    and therefore I had to scramble to make other plans… very upsetting since I was looking forward to eating at Baton Rouge…

    I think some compensation is in order and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

  3. After seeing a sandwich board outside the restaurant in Ottawa offering a”welcome truckers special” during the trucking freedom convoy that has disrupted the city I am compelled to write. I am appalled that Baton Rouge sems to support a group of truckers that have flown nazi flags, desecrated statues, harrassed a food kitchen, blocked an ambulence assaulted a reporter and more. It is a sad day when profit is put above everything else especially in a company that says they support the community. I will no longer be a patron of Baton Rouge and will strenuously campaign to have my friends withdraw their business as well.
