Zehrs Markets is a chain of supermarkets located southern Ontario. First founded in the city of Kitchener in 1950, Zehrs Markets was named after the store’s founder Emory Zehr. Ontario residents continue to rave about all the conveniences Zehrs offers its customers.
Not only do most Zehrs locations have bakeries and meat/produce departments, they also have a vast selection of wine, electronics, and even professional optical departments.
First off, if you want to call Zehrs for any reason, here’s the best number to reach their Customer Relations Centre:
Just be aware, this Customer Relations Centre is only open from 8:30AM-5:30PM Mondays through Fridays.

If you want to shop at Zehrs, then you’d better know where they’re located. That’s kind of obvious, right? But how are you going to know where to go. Never fear, the “Store Locator” page is here. Just click on this URL to easily find the closest Zehrs store to your home address.
Nowadays everything is online. That’s right, even grocery store flyers can be found on the World Wide Web. To take a peek at Zehrs’ latest flyer, please take a look at this link.

I want to commend Mel a cashier on her excellent customer service. She said hello right away and served me with a cheery disposition. During COVID the only outing many seniors have is going to the grocery store. Having a genuinely caring interaction with your staff made my shopping experience enjoyable. Give that cashier a raise for her efficiency and most importantly her people skills.
Unfortunately my review is not good on Dec.11 my wife attended the Alliston store to pick up some beef tenderloin as it was on sale. My two married daughters asked if she would pick up one for each of them, that morning our friend called to say she was at the store and had the butcher cut the tenderloin into steaks. My wife went to the store picked up 3 tenderloins and asked the butcher [Gavin] to cut them for her. He was rude and said lady it is Covid we do not do that. My wife said the butch cut her friend this morning his name was Frank. Gavin told her no we do not do that and that she was greedy as she had three tenderloin and she should put some back. Gavin continued to tell her she could complain about him as he does not care. There was no sign saying there was a limit per customer, my wife become embarrassed as there where other customer around. On Sat. Dec. 19th my wife and I were in the store and there was Gavin with a customer at the meat bunker, he took the lady's roast and cut it into steaks, we both watched. My wife when the lady left ask Gavin about covid. He was with some other employees and he immediately said here we go again and proceeded to tell the other employee about the event the previous Fri. laughing. Gavin then followed us as we walked away watching us with a big smile on his face.
The zehrs in uxbridge never has enough cashiers during mid morning till mid afternoon.there are always 5 - 10 people lined up for access to only 2-3 check out aisles.I sometimes spend more time in line then actually shopping.Too bad there is not another grocery chain in town that could provide better service!!
in an age when most letters to a company would be of a complaint nature or at least negative in nature, I would like to give a big applause to the Zehers on Weber ave in Kitchner Ont. I myself am a retired serviceman from TORONTO HYDRO. I've heard all the complaints one can hear, and cut off my share of cust. for non payment of hydro. I have also tried to exceed expectations with cust. to give as good amount of service as I humanly could. When this covid tragedy started I took my 85 year old mother from her seniors apt. in Kitchner to look after, protect, and feed her so that I would have one less worry. After three months when Ontario went to stage two we all agreed mom could probably do well on her own again.Last week my mother came to her reg. grocery store on Weber, shuffled around like a little penguin, as this is how she walks at 85, got her groceries and stood in line. An announcement came over the PA system which my mother thought; mentioned the debit machines would be down. She turned to the gentlemen directing customers to the various tellers to explain she only came with twenty five dollars, she expected to use her PC card for the rest. She thought she would have to return some groceries but was told it would be ok, and proceeded to the teller.Confused, my mother did as was asked, and the teller tallied the grocery bill.Without any fanfare, and proudly, I'm sure, your employee told my mom, it was on the house. I was not there at the time as I live in Whitby, but my mom called from the car to tell me the good news and you would have thought she won 1000 dollars at bingo. And she has, but was'nt half as excited as 65 dollars worth of groceries for free. Bravo Zehrs, you made a man whose had to be hardened, to cut off peoples hydro for a living, shed a tear.
I thank you very much: Dan and Sharon Horrell, Ps.i'm retired living in whitby and Im considering moving to Kitchner; I'm jealous.
I contacted the Eramosa store in Guelph to put in an order to be delivered. I asked for confirmation that delivery was free. They advised me that it was through a third party Insta cart. I assumed that Zehrs would rectify any issue if insta cart didn't.
The issue for my order on April 2 I only indicated that I would accept 1 substitute if the item wasn't available.
What bothers me most is they substituted the cookies and we opened the package they were stale. We looked at the expire date Feb. 14/20.
I have emailed insta cart 3 times with no reply and the phone service is out.
Am I wrong that Zehr's will stand behind there products and services?

This is the third week I have gone in to Zehr's Stanley Park, to find no flyers....at the beginning of sales. Why?
I live in Keswick, On and in our flyer it said that your Beef finger meat was on sale. I was in there last night (Friday) to buy some and was told they didn"t have any because they didn"t get there delivery on Tuesday but they were getting a delivery that night. I was in there today (Saturday) to buy some and they said they didn't get last nights delivery. It is absolutely ridiculous that if your going to have a sale you don't make sure the product is going to be in stock. This store does this all the time to bad they don't make a phone call to find out where it is.
