  • Why do we get flyers so late in the week - Friday or sat and sales are almost over?? Same goes for other stores - frustrating.

i like to shop on Thursday as store is not as busy but cannot load offers on computer as it is not posted until late in the day. Then i miss them
I do not have a phone to load them.
    Can this be corrected.
    Alice

  • We often shop at Zehr’s (Erb and Fisher Hallman, Waterloo), and have been extremely pleased with the staff - friendly and helpful.

My one concern, and it’s in support of the Cashiers, is their having to ask if customers would care to donate to whatever. I politely decline - because I don’t believe Cashiers should be put into that situation. Have someone stand at your exit door for whatever cause you’re hosting.

There are folks who, when put on the spot, are too embarrassed to say, ‘No thanks.’

    Sincerely, Del Kraehn

  • I was at a your Zehrs store on Ottawa St in Kitchener On Oct 5th at about 3:15pm my wallet must have fallen out of my bag I raced back to the store and saw a gentlemen picking up the carts and I asked him if he saw a wallet in one of the carts he was retrieving to bring back into the store he said he had and returned it to customer service. I went into the store and picked it up I dont know his name but hope you can find out his honesty needs to be rewarded in some way by that store and by this company you have one terrific employee hang onto to that...

  • There’s a lady that worked tonight sept 27th21 she harassed my boyfriend an I peaked inside our bag without looking accused us of stealing mean while we have a receipt for the beer I had got from lcbo which is next door .. and the day before she harassed us about our grocery order which everything scanned an went through and still leaned over my shoulder literally watching me as I scanned everything still accused us of stealing
She also gave nasty attitude two days in a row which wasn’t appreciated I really hope she gets a write up

  • Had a Covid shot at Zehrs Orillia. Pharmacist was extremely helpful with explanation, no waiting just an overall positive experience. We dealt with two different pharmacist between first and second shot and we had very positive experiences with both!!!

  • I am really disappointed. I have been buying the Daiya brand alternative cheeses at Zehrs in Cambridge (8 & 97 )
I found they are no longer selling them and have replaced them with a PC brand vegan shreds.
I have to be honest. I made a homemade pizza and used the entire bag of shreds on the crust. There was no cheese taste at all and my family wondered why I did not use any cheese. Also the small shreds hardened like having small twigs in the pizza. I would not think of buying this ever again. Now I will have to travel far to find the Daiya cheeses. You sell all varieties of other products. Why are you trying to limit those that are vegan or have milk allergies? There are so few choices already.

I would also comment on the yogourt alternative The old container was 680 g. The new version is 500 g at the same price and to be honest it does not taste good like the old one. So that is two products I will not longer buy from you.
I will have to shop at other stores to find what I want.
    Bad move.

  • I have been shopping at Zehrs at Highland Plaza (Franklin Blvd. Cambridge) for more than 30 years. I am upset to see one of the cashiers (a Tall very young male) constantly pulls back his long uncovered hair every 30 seconds and not wearing a net or gloves. I have taken this up with one of the cashier supervisors and nothing has been done after a week prior to when she was informed.

  • Was using the self checkout and heard a CSR proudly conversing with a customer about attending the anti lockdown protests and recommending open restaurants during the pandemic while stay at home orders are currently in effect.
It felt like going to a restaurant and the chef talked about not washing his hands after going to the bathroom.
I would've left without the groceries but I'd already paid and was exposed to this employee.

  • Unable to get into Zehrs order site for 2 days after using for over a year. Customer service not open on weekend. Could not locate a customer service number on the order....so I used this website. Will not be using Zehrs again.

  • I needed to buy beef tenderloin, and the man who was in the butchery was extremely rude, he didn’t want to tell me his name unfortunately, he has white hair. Another lady and me we were waiting for him to come and help us but he never paid attention to us, we were waiting and waiting and he was very rude, when I told him that I needed to buy a piece of beef tenderloin and never came to attend me, I told him please can you come and he said he couldn’t because he was busy cutting some meat. I told him that I was going to report him, that I needed his name, and he said “ Go ahead report me “ I have never had this experience at Zhers and I hope it doesn’t happen again, I had to go to the butcher outside.
