Hello
I have a black membership card. Went to the St.Catherines gym. Nice and big but just one
little thing that was shocking. NO WATER FOUNTAIN!
Come on guys we don't live in a third world country. I can live without the showers but water in a gym is necessary. Especially when you don't have showers. Unbelievable! Shame on fit 4 less in St Catherine's. Its a BASIC necessity....shame. I will stick to Niagara Falls at least they have 2 yes 2 fountains.
This is a really nice gym (Victoria BC). Every equipment is available, which gives me a full work out.
A good suggestion would be to have displayed somehow the number of members present at the gym in real time. So far early morning are good for me, but I have to work around my work schedule too. Odyssey Gym on Quesnel Street has a camera on a social media that shows if there is a line up. I think with the cards being scanned at the door it would be easy to display somehow on social media or other media how many members are present in real time.
My only not so positive comment is some of the staff: 2 people at the front desk horsing around with foam rollers when the garbage bins are full, paper towel is missing, spray bottles are empty. Members should not have to go tell them each time that refilling or emptying is needed. Some other staff would rather chat among each other looking at their phones, you come ask a question, and it looks like you've interrupted a Muslim prayer. So far I have only seen one female staff (blonde with round glasses) on Sundays that goes around regularly to refill supplies and make sure that everything is in order. She has great attitude and is a good professional image for the company. Please hire more like her.
In Milton, Ontario there are too many youths that act foolish. The always act over masculine, talk inappropriately about the females and leave their garbage and weights lying around.
A couple of night after 10pm, there are these males that play catch across the gym with the exercise balls, spray each other with the cleaner, and run around.
If you are a female or can't stand childish behaviour ... then you better work out mid day or you won't have a good experience.
Access card is terrible! Very thin and the keychain hold can easily be damaged. Nevertheless, with the small damage on the keychain hold, which broke 2 month after getting the card, I’ve been using it just fine! 7 month later the card stops scanning and I am asked to pay for replacement key?
The customer servie provided by the gentleman who just picked up the phone at West Pender branch in Vancouver was absolutely not in keeping with the bold claims your organization makes here. Absoliutely atrocious and not a great way to start the day.
I am very disappointed in one particular staff member at the Weber Street, Kitchener location.
After all this chaos around COVID with openings and closing, and changes in procedures around paperwork etc., you would think the staff would be more helpful and happy that they are back to work. Instead, my partner and I (seniors) and members for a number of years went to the gym for the first time since back in the last week or so and were rudely spoken to and the militant staff member made us question our return. Instead of politely explaining the new procedures with vaccination and the government code, ID, COVID questions, she was degrading. I hope she looks for a new job that makes her happy, obviously she doesn't like the one she has. Signed, disappointed.
I joined because I work shifts & need 24 hours access. They don’t want to pay for someone to look at our proof of vaccines but they will put our membership up & say it’s for extra cleaning??? So did they used to clean only once a day! JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK
Seems like fit4less is robbing many of us.. I’ve tried to contact my branch for the past 5 months because of charges every month, a year and a half AFTER cancelling my membership. With this many complaints, idk how this company is still operating. They refuse to give me a refund because there’s no proof that I “called and canceled my membership, since there was a pandemic”. I cancelled before the pandemic, but I keep getting the same excuse. Unbelievable
If I could give 0 rate I would have done so, very poor and terrible service, I have been having wrong charges in my account and called the branch more than 5 times to explain the same situation, I have been told I will get a refund and it’s been months now. I have had nothing that worst experience with these people. I want my money back
I canceled my membership in person eons ago and yet I keep getting billed. Fit4Less, I would appreciate my money back.
Im so spitting mad at the Lethbridge, Alberta Fit4Less. Do I have to ask the media for help? Or the Premier of Alberta and the Prime Minister of Canada? How many other ex members are being robbed?
