A&W customer care and support service

A&W is an upbeat fast-food chain operating in Canada. It started as a drive-in restaurant in Winnipeg in 1956. Offering an exciting menu ranging from breakfast, burgers, sides and drinks, its root beer and Burger Family remain the most popular. The latter is a combination of hamburgers consisting of Baby, Mama, Teen and Papa burgers.

Currently, A&W has 974 franchises Xanax for sale in Canada, making it the second-largest fast-food restaurant in Canada after McDonald’s.

The best part about A&W is that the brand is known for animal welfare. Their chickens are fed a vegetarian diet while their beef is grass-fed. They also use compostable packaging, which makes their brand stand out compared to other famous fast-food chains.

They have a website that consists of four options to navigate on its homepage.

Menu

There are indeed a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you want to browse through a breakfast menu, burgers or a chicken menu, the Menu webpage is helpful.

It displays limited offers along with each item’s description, whether for a burger or a drink. Not only this, it gives a beneficial breakdown of the ingredients, nutrients, calories and allergen information in a single item, making it easy for you to choose.

A&W’s Values

Check out the website for A&W’s story to acquaint yourself with the company’s values. These cover three areas of interest: food, planet and community.

With each click on the tabs on the Values page, the website will introduce further options. Customers can browse through options and see A&W’s evolution as a drive-in to a popular quick-service restaurant.

Coupons

If you’re not a member, then you will have to log in to become one. Becoming a member is hassle-free as A&W asks for very few details.

And once you’re a member, you can avail all kinds of coupon deals.

The page also features an FAQ page that can answer most of your coupon queries.

Have a friend’s birthday coming up and have no time to get them a present? Send them a gift card. Not just a birthday, but any occasion is fit for Gift Cards. All you need to do is visit A&W’s Gift Cards page to customize your gift card.

You can add up to 30 cards worth a certain amount of money with a special message. You can also check your remaining balance or even reload once you’re out of it.

Deliver it via email or choose self-delivery. Just know you’d be making someone’s day!

Finding A&W

Want to find out quickly which A&W franchise is near you?

The map locator feature on the website is specifically made to ease this search. With a feature for filtering out options from the list depending on what you want; a drive-thru or an open A&W. In addition to this, postal and city codes make this task even more hassle-free.

Social Media Presence

If you’re interested in viewing how your burger was made or are curious about the benefits of grass-fed beef, then A&W’s YouTube Channel is made for you.

Not just this, but it also maintains social media presence on all major platforms, from Facebook to Instagram and Twitter.

Not only is A&W great for diners, but the fast-food chain also has its own perks when it comes to its work culture. Flexible schedules, satisfying work culture, and market competitive pay are only some of its employees’ benefits.

Head over to the careers webpage to apply. The website offers both, in-person and online applications. Whatever works best for you and is accessible.

Contacting A&W

While A&W does not have a direct helpline, it does take customer feedback seriously. The Contact page on the website includes a survey that you can fill out whether you have a general query, something to say about restaurant experience, or want to know about employment opportunities.

Each of the three options has different surveys, which hardly take much time to fill out. A&W seeks to improve customer experience at all ends. They have streamlined the process, ensuring transparency and accuracy at each step.

FAQ’s page

Do you have a question about the quality of chicken in your burger? Look no further than the FAQ page. The FAQ page on the website is a highly beneficial repository for all kinds of questions you may have. You can explore options on the page, which consist of:

  • I went to the A&W in Winnipeg on marion st on Tuesday July 14 2020 I got a promo deal using the website promos at the time I ordered I showed the rep my phone at which time he took my phone out of my hand And scanned the promo code I asked why he took my phone and with covid 19 why would you take my phone his response was my hands are clean?? I responded that’s not the issue. I went on with waiting for my food. Now comes the more interesting part where A & W has now lost my business and so far a fair amount of friends that I had spoken to in person since I haven’t gone beyond this and the store manager. So I got my food then asked for the manager which no manager was present so I asked for the name and number at which point a rep nice lady was going to write it down then some other rep decided to say no I can’t have the name and number. I said I want to make a complaint the rep responded back to me he said he was sorry. Once again I said that’s not the point and you seem to be defending what he did was ok and I’m wrong. Then some other guy steps in and starts getting upset and aggressive tone towards me at which time I wanted no part of so I asked for my money back and said I might not ever come back to this place. He replies good we don’t want your business I asked what title he holds his reply I’m the supervisor. I said ok I would like my money back please. He goes to the til at which time people waiting in line he gets more mad at me for no reason once again making it seem like it’s my fault. He says tap your card when it says too I tell him ok. He starts getting a very aggressive tone towards me and say tap your card. I tell him is says welcome it doesn’t say tap he asked me again 2 more times after 6-8 attempts he says see and starts throwing the refund slips at me. He proceeds to give me the money back but instead of refunding $8.95 he refunds $8.70 I didn’t pick up the money off the counter when I mentioned what I got again mad opens the til takes a quarter and tosses on the counter. Needless to say I went to a different A&W was able to use the coupon that almost expired but I can tell you this I did nothing wrong and if that first rep dropped my phone I’m sure they wouldn’t pay for repairs or replacement phone and if all these protocols are in place for covid 19 why does anyone need to take my phone. Lastly a supervisor saying they don’t want my business for no reason is appalling and they don’t care they lost a customer but I’m pretty sure A&W isn’t pleased about losing customers. I grew up on A&W and prefer it over any fast food place hands down my kids love A&W as well, however after this experience I will NOT give another cent to A&W period if that’s how they want to treat customers and specially when they make you in the wrong because I asked for a managers name.

  • This was the worse experience myself and my 12 year old son had at A&W.
This location is at 2858 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 1Y8
My son had the egg with bacon served on an english muffin with a hash brown. It was so greasy that the english muffin was soaked through with grease. my son wouldn't even take a bite and I don't blame him.
I had ordered a mama burger with fries both were disgusting and I was unable to eat them. The fries and the burger looked recooked.
    Extremely disappionting time at A&W

  • July 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the franchise at Huntsville Ontario Canada. I waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes and placed an order for Teen Burger, onion rings and root beer. I think I paid $17.00 for this. I opened the bag and 6 onion rings ($5.49) and they were good but for $1.00 each is pricey. The teen burger was very poor. the meat was very dry and the pickle ,onion and scant condiments were on the bottom of the burger. The burger was in a flimsy paper container so the burger was falling apart before I could attempt to eat it. The Root Bear had so little ice it had melted before I opened the lid and was flat, no carbonation. I think this franchisee needs a lesson in QC. Never again. Too expensive, poor quality.

  • The last 4x of getting A&W have been very disappointing. This time, I actually complained to the manager and got nothing but attitude. He said he would mail us coupons.....which doesn't help with our dinner tonight. So much for loyalty.....our family has enjoyed A&W for years but, no more. Keeping quiet and not complaining (thinking it was just honest mistakes) does nothing either......they don't care!

  • This place is unbelievable, they now send out emails instead of coupons. Every time I try and print them off they flag used??? They were just sent out that day. Tried contacting them 2 more days expiring. I will never beg for coupons but try and give head office chance to rectify the situation. I finally got email back with how to print, how many of us who use tablets knew you cud not print them off?????? They finally sent email asking for my postal code to reissue them for right district. Never to this day heard back from them. This is my third time trying to rectify issue. Thank goodness chic filet is now in Yorkdale.
If I cud give them 0 stars I would. Their dining area is filthy not busy but I guess wiping tables is not their job.
    Good luck in future
    R.K.

  • - After having an angioplasty and a stent installed in one of my arteries, my cardiologist impressed upon me that I should move away from eating animal protein and seek to eat non-animal protein only. I used to like Tim's coffee so on the way to work it was practical/easy to pick up one of their 'better than sausage' sandwiches along the way - the sandwich also had tomato and lettuce on it - yum yum. So approx. 4-5 months ago, Tim's discontinued with the sale of these sandwiches (they stated that sales/revenue wasn't where they needed it to be to be profitable) - I was quite disappointed.
    - So when looking for alternatives, I was pleased to find that A&W offered a delicious breakfast sandwich option that was quite similar - meatless, tasty, and offered with tomato and lettuce as well. This, combined with the coffee improvement, made A&W a nice relatively healthy option through the week. Now just today, when I went to purchase my preferred meatless breakfast sandwich from A&W, it was gone.... discontinued.
    - Beyond my personal disappointment, I am a little confused since I t was my understanding that the over-all trend for our society was to improve our diet(s) and become more healthy - offering a meatless alternative for people is an important part of that trend. Whoever, or whichever shareholders involved with making this decision, appear to be 'way off' when it comes to addressing and projecting what people's needs are (or where your future profit lies). I love the taste of beef, but most all of the quality research out there shows very clearly just how harmful the use of beef is, re: personal health, environmental costs, etc. The decision to take the meatless alternative off the market has lots of consequences, and from my personal perspective, it really sucks .. my personal health is impacted by it.

  • I have never bee so disappointed with my breakfast meal at 1718 Erin Ridge St Albert. I asked for the eggs over medium-dry brown toast, crisp bacon, and the sausages well done. After waiting how long I get my meal eggs not really over medium, uncooked bacon and sausages are not the way I wanted them. I said to the server that the bacon is not crisp and the next table said to me that is the way they wanted it too. I did not think the server was going to bring me some crisp bacon so I asked another server. Then brought some bacon which is completely opposite of well done, nearly burnt!I was at this location a couple of times before and I was really impressed with the breakfast.

  • I would like to ask A&W why people that do not like a spicy product are subjected to having to purchase them? Or just throw coupons away that they cannot enjoy. I have received a set of your coupons lately that states you are not allowed to interchange the Spicy habanero chicken for anything including just a chicken burger. Just because there are new people moving into Canada with different tastes than Canadians why should food turn into a challenge for us to enjoy? There are many things not in your coupons for people with sensitivity to beef burgers or whatever they are. This would also be like something that doesn't make them ill to eat. I am asking because when I was young A&W food seemed to be much more enjoyable. I know I am one out of millions of customers and do not mean anything special to you folks but I thought maybe you could give some thought to the few of us. Thanks for reading this blurb

  • I have been a big fan of A&W for years, untill my last visit which was Sunday
I ordered 2 combos and of course root beer as my drink , my question is
WHY AND WHEN did you decide to change your straws to 100% compostable did you try this product before you replaced the plastic straws. I would say you did not because these straws are terrible and fall apart before you even finish the drink you ordered.
