I want to check my Eastlink voicemail but I’m not sure how I can do that.
I just got Eastlink’s services deployed last week at my residence and thus have no idea how this works. Can someone guide me?

Eastlink is a telecommunications company that provides various services to customers in Canada.

One of these services is voicemail.

To access voicemail, customers can press *99 for Maritime / Newfoundland regions and *98 for Ontario / Alberta / British Columbia regions.

Pressing either of these buttons will allow the customer to listen to any new messages.

Eastlink Voicemail allows you to manage your messages from anywhere, anytime.

Once you are logged in, you can manage your messages using various options.

For example, you can choose to delete and listen to your messages or save them for later. You can also change your voicemail greeting and set up preferences for how you would like to receive your messages. With Eastlink Voicemail, you can stay connected even when you’re on the go.

Overall, the voicemail service from Eastlink is a convenient and easy way for customers to stay connected with their loved ones.

Eastlink is urging customers to be extra vigilant about their voicemail accounts after a series of scams in which criminals accessed voicemails and used them to commit fraud.

Eastlink says that it has seen an increase in the number of reports of voicemail hacking and that the criminals are using various methods to gain access to people’s accounts.

The most common method seems to be through phishing scams, in which the criminals send out emails or text messages from Eastlink.

These messages often contain a link that takes the user to a fake Eastlink website, where they are prompted to enter their voicemail password.

Once the password is entered, the criminal has access to the account and can listen to any messages that have been left.

Eastlink is urging customers to be cautious about any emails or text messages purporting to be from the company and not to click on any links or enter any information unless they are sure that the message is legitimate.

They also advise customers to change their voicemail passwords regularly and to choose passwords that are difficult to guess. By taking these precautions, customers can help protect themselves from becoming victims of this scam.
