Hi Patrick,

eBay is an online shopping platform that is globally known for its bidding system. It allows sellers to set up listings and auctions for buyers to bid on, and they have the freedom to choose the highest paying or most reliable buyer. This has made eBay an extremely popular selling site for online merchants as they have the freedom to choose who to sell to and at what price point.

One of the best features of eBay is the ability to find items being sold by local merchants by entering your zip code. This allows buyers to get their items shipped to them ASAP without having to spend weeks waiting for the products to arrive.

Making an account on eBay is free of cost, so anybody can join the platform and start buying or selling. However, if you’re a seller, you will need to pay a certain amount as the listing fee before you can start an auction for your items to be sold.

Once you start selling, you will receive bids from different buyers. The more bids your listing receives, the better it is. But, there can be instances where you wish to cancel a bid. Let’s find out how to do so.

Please remember that eBay discourages sellers from cancelling any bids unless it is absolutely necessary. This is because it can be quite disappointing to potential buyers and would reduce the chances of them putting their bids forward in the future.

But if you want to do it anyway, keep reading!
