I got a new SIM card with Rogers but it doesn’t work, I don’t know what to do!! Help!!

How to Activate Your Rogers SIM Card?

All you really need to do is insert your SIM card into your phone and wait for the signals to come on. If that doesn’t happen within a minute or two of inserting the SIM card, you might need to restart your device. Once your device powers up again, your SIM card will be ready for use!
In rare circumstances, telecommunications service providers in Canada set up carries locks on SIM cards. There isn’t any way to tell if a SIM card is locked or not. So, if your device isn’t receiving signals on the SIM card despite all of your attempts, you would need to follow the steps mentioned below to activate it. Step 1 – Open your Internet browser and go to Roger’s official site. You will need to select the wireless option on your screen. This will bring up a menu, and you will notice ‘Pay As You Go.’
Step 2 – Click on ‘Pay As You Go’ and then click on the “Activate Now’ button, which can be found on the right side.
Step 3 – You will be redirected to a new window with a form to fill. Type in your phone’s IMEI number in the box that asks for ‘Serial Number.’ You can locate this number on your the battery or in the phone’s user manual.
Step 4 – Next, enter the 20 digit SIM number in the box that is labelled ‘SIM Number.’ This can be found on the back of your SIM card.
Step 5 – In the following boxes, enter the Canadian province and city you reside in and then click ‘Continue.’
Step 6 – Enter your name, address, and other details required on the Customer Information form and click ‘Continue’ again.
Step 7 – Select the different services you require in your mobile plan, like text messaging, data access etc. and then click on ‘Continue.’ Review all of your choices and information once again and if you’re satisfied with the entries, press ‘Submit Activation.’
Step 8 – You will be given a confirmation number. After two days of this process, you will receive an email corresponding to this number with further instructions to program your SIM card into your phone.
That’s it; your SIM card is now successfully activated!
