If you don’t receive a notification, then the shipping address is restricted for the selected item, which means that the company will not deliver it to you unless you change your location to an unrestricted Canadian address.
Here are the typical delivery options that you can find for different products on Costco:
Standard Delivery
Most Costco products are delivered directly to your door by carriers such as FedEx, Canada Post, UPS, and Purolator. Standard Delivery items don’t require your signature unless specified on the product page.
Curbside Delivery
Some Costco items are delivered through contracted freight carriers. These items are typically too heavy or large to ship through standard delivery. White-Glove Delivery
White-Glove carriers deliver products that need special handling or setup. They will contact you when your merchandise arrives at their terminal for a delivery appointment. They will unpack, inspect, and install your item wherever you want. They will also remove all packaging material from your property.
Room of Choice
As the name suggests, this service delivers your merchandise to your chosen room, but it doesn’t include assembly and includes packaging removal for select items only.
Moreover, if, for some reason, you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, you can do that within 60 minutes of order placement. Go to My Orders on Costco’s official website and choose “order details” on the order you want to update. Find the shipping address and select “Change” to update the address. If you can’t find the “Change” option, it’s because the initial 60 minutes are up, and it is no longer possible for you to change your address.
If that happens and your shipping address contains a minor error, such as the wrong street, apartment number, postal code, etc., you can contact the company to let them know to determine if they will be able to change the address on your behalf or not.
