Enbridge Gas customer care and support service

Enbridge Gas Distribution is one of the oldest and most respected natural gas providers in Canada. Headquartered in Toronto, this company now serves around 2 million happy Ontario residents. If you’re not familiar with the name “Enbridge,” then you might be more familiar with the company’s first name: “Consumers Gas.” That’s the name the company chose to use when it was founded way back in 1848.

It wasn’t until 1998 that executives decided to change the company’s name to “Enbridge Consumers Gas.” Not only is Enbridge a quality natural gas provider in both Canada and the USA, this company is well known for its innovation in the clean energy space. In 2008, Enbridge developed the world’s first Hybrid FuelCell, which is able to produce some 2.2 megawatts of electricity from energy that would otherwise be lost in pipeline operations.

People who work at Enbridge are extremely proud their company has earned a spot on the annual “Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations” list for over eight years in a row. Enbridge is a publicly traded company and is listed on the NYSE under the ticker ENB.

  1. I have been on the phone, online with a bot for over one hour. Phone is simply a menu of items that do not apply to me. The bot could not answer my question and put me into a queue, #20. That number didn’t change the entire time I was waiting! Did I get dropped? I tried to “register” my account online. When I input the account number, it says invalid! How frustrating!!! I need to speak to a live agent.

  3. Worst company ever. They only hire contract people who are not loyal so they berate customers and suck at customer service. Instead of cheating out they need to invest in their people and pass on contracts. Cheap AF.

  4. I took ownership of my current house on April 30, 2020. I have called many times Enbridge Gas since August of 2020 to send me an actual bill with meter reading instead of estimated bills. In July of 2021 they had to move gas meter out of the house as it was not possible to read the meter from outside. Enbridge then moved the meter outside and caused damage to the outside patio tiles. There was further damage to the newly built washroom in the basement as their technicians had to cut the dry wall including the wooden frame. The Operations Supervisor had r assured me that Enbridge would take care of the damage and do the restoration work. I was provided the email for Restoration by Operations Supervisor to request for restoration work to the wall in the washroom. I have sent three emails and till today after five months, there has been no response. I then sent a letter to the CEO of Enbridge Gas with cc to Enbridge Customer service. I got an automated response that I should contact Customer service before the CEO’s office would respond. I have called more than ten times to speak to the customer service but I cannot get a human on the phone. I wait for 30 to 45 minutes and then give up as no one takes my calls. Very Frustrating.

  8. I am emailing with regards to obtaining a copy of an old bill for an income tax audit. I require a copy of a bill which is just over 24 months. I call last week Thursday to get an email which I was told to show my connection fee to provide to Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) as part of a move audit. I was told it would take a day. The request wasn’t submitted until Friday and I have to have paperwork to CRA by mid week. I contacted other utility companies and the bills were sent while I was on the phone (5-10 mins). I was also told to get the actual bill from Enbridge there would be a fee approx. $100. This is unacceptable. If I opt for paperless billing there should be no charge for bills to be resent.
I now have to wait til the team the request was sent to action this.

    Unsatisfied customer.

  9. Question about billing/payment was rudely answered. I asked her to a little more helpful and less hash and she start berating me. I don’t understand you she say I guess English is not understood these days. I assumed that her job was to help me not tell me to phone my bank. I asked for a supervisor but of course none are available for 24 to 48 hours This happened today 14/6/2019
